How do I activate my physical Gemini Card?

The physical credit card can only be activated by logging into your account, navigating to card settings, and selecting "activate your card and set cash advance PIN". You are not required to set up a PIN to activate your card and it is optional. You can select any 4 digit pin you want. You can not activate the card over the phone. Note: to prevent unauthorized use, you should not activate your physical credit card until you receive it in the mail.

What happens if I don't activate my physical Gemini Credit Card?

If you don't activate your card, you can still make purchases with your digital card by using a Google Pay or Apple Pay digital wallet or using the card info provided in the Gemini app. Since your physical card is not activated, you will not be able to use your physical card to make purchases. If you never use your digital card and don't activate your physical card within 60 days, Gemini may close your card, in accordance with, the cardholder agreement.

What is my digital/virtual card?

Once verified, we will issue a digital version of your credit card. You can add this card to Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay or you can also use it for online purchases. To access your card details, log into your account and click on "Card details" to get your card account number, expiration date and security code.  In order to keep your card safe and secure, we may require additional verification for you to access your virtual card. 

How is my physical card different from my virtual card?

The physical card has the same number as your digital card and can be used to make purchases where you swipe or insert your credit card into a credit card reader.
