An Authorized User is someone 18 years of age or older that can be added to the Gemini Credit Card account of a Primary Cardholder. The Primary Cardholder must invite an Authorized User to join the credit account, and the Authorized User must have or create a Gemini Account in order to accept the invite and verify their identity. The Authorized User will get their own physical and virtual card, and it will be connected to the Primary Cardholder’s line of credit. There will not be a credit check for the invited Authorized User, and the Primary Cardholder’s credit will not be impacted by adding additional users. Factors such as payment history and available credit will impact both Primary and Authorized Users.
How to Add an Authorized User:
- Select “Add authorized users” in Card Settings
- Fill out the authorized user’s information (name, email, DOB)
- Send the invite
- Repeat for up to 5 authorized users on your account
Authorized Users do not have access nor are responsible for:
- Making payments
- Viewing statements
- Managing rewards - including selecting the cryptocurrency
- Managing other authorized users on the account

Can an Authorized User lock their card or report it as lost/stolen?
Yes, if an Authorized User has lost their card, they are able to lock or request a new card in Card Settings.
