Funds can be transferred out of a derivatives account via Gemini's web platform or Gemini's mobile app.

Web Platform

At any time you can transfer assets out of your derivatives enabled account by going to the transfers page from the top right of ActiveTrader™.

Note that you can only transfer funds out of your account that are not required to maintain any initial margin requirements or spot trade holds for that account.

Mobile

1. Press the "Account" button in the upper right-hand corner of the app.
2. Select "Transfer ⇆".
   
   
   
3. Choose the Derivatives account you would like to transfer from, followed by the Exchange account to receive the funds.
   
   
   
4. Select the currency you wish to transfer.
   
   
   
5. Enter the amount and select the currency in which you would like to receive it (if applicable). In the example screenshot below GUSD is selected as the sending (from) and receiving (to) currency and 222 is entered as the amount. 
   
   
   
   
6. Review your transfer details and tap 'Confirm'.
