What is happening?
To align with the EU’s new MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) regulation, Gemini will be updating its token offering.
As part of this process, availability of certain tokens will be changed on our platform starting 17 June 2025.
This change supports our ongoing efforts to meet evolving regulatory standards.
What you need to do
We kindly request that you cancel any recurring orders of the affected tokens and refrain from purchasing or depositing these tokens onto your Gemini account starting now.
We also ask you to start withdrawing or selling balances of these assets from your Gemini account.
For your convenience, we have put together the following table outlining the actions available to remove each of the affected assets from your Gemini account:

How to handle the funds on your Custody Account
If you’d like to transfer your Custody Account funds to an external wallet or exchange, please follow the instructions outlined here.
If you’d like to sell the assets on your Custody Account, you can do so using the Gemini Instant Trade™ feature, which allows you to trade directly on Gemini Exchange with cryptocurrency held in offline (“cold”) storage. To use Instant Trade make a between account transfer between your custody account and your exchange account – the funds will be immediately available for trading in advance of them later being sent on-chain.
Why can't I sell some of the assets?
A number of the assets affected by this change, were previously delisted on the Gemini exchange. For these, we currently do not offer the option to sell for Fiat or convert to another crypto asset. You will be required to withdraw these assets out of your Gemini account.
This includes Non-MiCA Compliant Stablecoins.
Why can't I withdraw some of the assets to another exchange?
In accordance with EU & European Economic Area Travel Rule Requirements, only withdrawals of ERC-20 tokens, ETH, and BTC are permitted to other registered TRUST VASPs.
Unsupported tokens that fall outside of the definition above can only be transferred to a self-hosted wallet.
Please also note that Gemini will block any outbound transfers to a non-TRUST VASP. You can view the full list of registered TRUST VASPs here.
What happens after 17 June 2025?
Any funds held in the affected assets past the cutoff date will be automatically converted into Euro at the prevailing market rate*.
Please note that this operation may take several days, during which you will not be able to access these funds.
*In circumstances where we are forced to liquidate a client position, a discount will be applied to the market rate, to offset the risk Gemini assumes during the period between taking on the client position and the sale of the asset to a third party.
