Gemini Custody provides regulated custody for institutions and other eligible customers. Assets held in a Gemini Custody account are segregated using unique blockchain addresses that are independently verifiable on their respective networks.

New Gemini Custody accounts use Gemini’s MPC infrastructure. The complete private key is never assembled during storage or signing, and customers authorize withdrawal-address changes and withdrawals using a passkey. Accounts can also use multi-user approval policies requiring more than one user to approve activity.

Accounts on the MPC infrastructure support withdrawals completed in minutes and a broader range of blockchain networks.

Existing customers can continue using their current Gemini Custody accounts during the transition and will be notified further instructions separately.
