Before closing, please note:
- Your Gemini account balance must be $0.
- If you have any pending deposits, they will first need to clear. To check please visit the transfer page.
- If you are a Gemini Credit Cardholder, closing your Gemini account will also close your Gemini Credit Card account
To close your account via the web browser,
- Navigate to the Profile Settings Page
- Click on the "Close account" button at the bottom of the page under Your Gemini account
- To complete the account closure, type in all caps "CLOSE" and press "Close account" to confirm
To close your account via Gemini mobile app,
- Press the "Account" icon in the top right hand corner
- Select "Preferences" and press the "Close account" button
- To complete the account closure, type in all caps "CLOSE" and press "Close account" to confirm
If you see a "Contact support" button instead of "Close account", this means that your account might contain a balance or have pending deposits. Please reach out to the support team for assistance.
