If your Apple Pay or Google Pay transaction is failing, it is often due to the payment method selected in your wallet. Gemini currently supports debit cards only for purchases using Apple Pay or Google Pay. If you attempt to use a credit card or Apple Cash, the transaction will not be processed.
How to resolve:
- Ensure your debit card is added to your Apple Pay or Google Pay wallet.
- When prompted with the Apple Pay or Google Pay payment screen, confirm that the correct debit card is selected.
- If another payment method appears by default, click “Change Payment Method” in the Apple Pay or Google Pay modal and choose your debit card before confirming the transaction.
