Your debit card deposit will be credited to your Gemini account and will be applied to your trade immediately. Your debit card deposit should fully clear into your Gemini account within 24 hours.
Debit card transactions on our platform may be processed by different affiliated entities, depending on your location and the payment method you select.
For certain debit card transactions, we use Worldpay as our payment processor. The merchant code used for these transactions is registered to Gemini Payments UK or an affiliated EU entity. Your card statement may list one of these entities as the merchant, even if your account is held with a different Gemini entity. This means the entity processing your payment may not be the same as the entity providing your account or digital asset services.
Debit card transactions for users of Gemini Moonbase, LLC (“Moonbase”) where debit cards are added after 06/18/2025 are processed through Checkout.com.
For US users:
- If you are a New York resident, your account and fiat transactions are provided by Gemini Trust Company, LLC.
- If you are a US resident outside New York and you are linking a new card, your account will be administered by Gemini Moonbase, LLC and debit card transactions are processed by Moonbase via checkout.com.
For users outside the US, your debit card transaction may be processed by Gemini Payments UK or another Gemini affiliate, as described above.
By using a debit card to fund your account or purchase digital assets, you acknowledge and agree that your transaction may be processed by a Gemini affiliate and that the processing entity may be different from the account or service provider.
