Litecoin (LTC) is a decentralized peer-to-peer digital currency that was created as a fork of the Bitcoin Core client. It is similar to Bitcoin in many ways but differentiates itself by aiming to process blocks every 2.5 minutes instead of 10 minutes like Bitcoin.
