The Gemini Leaderboard tracks and ranks the top-performing derivatives traders on our platform. While each leaderboard has unique objectives and rules, all provide a way to challenge yourself, track performance, and earn bragging rights among top traders.

Who is eligible to participate?

To be eligible to join the leaderboard you must meet the following requirements:

• Reside in any of the derivatives-supported jurisdictions.
• For a full list of available jurisdictions, visit www.gemini.com/derivatives.
• Be a retail (non-institutional) customer.
• Have a Gemini derivatives account.

Once you have actively opted in to the leaderboard, you are immediately eligible for Volume Victor and P&L PlayOff.

To be eligible for ROI Rumble, you must meet the following additional requirements:

• Have at least $250 GUSD in MAV in your derivatives account at the beginning (00:00:00 UTC) and end (23:59:59 UTC) of each 24 hour competition period.
• Complete at least 1 trade in the 24 hour contest window
  
  

How do I join the Gemini Leaderboard?

Participating in the Gemini Leaderboard competitions is easy. All you need to get started is a Gemini derivatives account.

1. Log on to ActiveTrader via the web
   1. In your derivatives account, select “Join the Gemini Leaderboard”
   2. Receive your Geminym. Your Geminym is the alias that will be displayed on the Gemini Leaderboard to represent you.
   3. Agree to the terms and conditions
   4. Congratulations! Welcome to the Gemini Leaderboard

What is ROI Rumble?

ROI Rumble tracks the top individual (non-institutional) derivatives traders with the highest ROI in each 24-hour period. This leaderboard allows traders to compete, measure their performance, and see how they stack up against others based on return on investment.

To be eligible for ranking on ROI Rumble, in addition to joining the Gemini Leaderboard, you must meet the following requirements:

• Have at least $250 GUSD in MAV in your derivatives account at the beginning (00:00:00 UTC) and end (23:59:59 UTC) of each 24-hour period.
• Complete at least one trade within the daily window.

ROI Rumble runs daily until otherwise modified or terminated by Gemini.

What is Volume Victor?

Volume Victor tracks the top individual (non-institutional) takers with the largest trading volume on the Gemini Derivatives platform in each 24-hour period.

This leaderboard allows traders to showcase their trading activity, compete for the highest volume, and track their ranking among top participants.

Volume Victor runs daily until modified or terminated by Gemini.

What is P&L Playoff?

The P&L Playoff daily competition tracks the derivatives trader with the highest profit achieved, including both realized and unrealized, in each 24-hour period. The winner will be determined at the end of every 24-hour period, running from 00:00:00 UTC to 23:59:59 UTC, and will receive $100 GUSD.

The P&L Playoff monthly competition tracks the derivatives trader with the highest number of wins in our daily P&L playoff competition throughout the entire month. The winner will receive the grand prize of $1,000 GUSD. For the monthly reward, if multiple traders achieve the same number of wins within a month, the prize will be divided equally among them.

Winners will be notified of their rewards via email, and prizes will be credited directly to their Gemini derivatives account within 72 hours.

P&L Playoff, both the daily and monthly challenge, will run until modified or terminated by Gemini.
