Effective 18 April 2025, all SGD FAST transfers to Gemini accounts are processed through DBS Bank, replacing Xfers as our previous SGD transfer partner.
To fund your Gemini account with SGD:
- Go to the Transfer button at the top right of your dashboard.
- Select “Deposit cash” from the dropdown, and you will be shown your deposit instructions
- Complete the FAST transfer using your bank’s online banking portal.
Note: If this is your first time retrieving deposit instructions, it may take up to 24 hours to generate. Once ready, the instructions will be emailed to your registered email address.
Important:
- Only deposit from a bank account in your name.
- The maximum deposit per transaction is SGD 200,000.
- Only FAST and MEPS transfers are accepted. Deposits via GIRO will be rejected.
- Third-party platforms such as Wise, Revolut, Grab, etc., are not supported.
Usage of Joint Bank Accounts
If your bank account is a joint account, at least one of the account holders’ names must match the name on your Gemini account. Learn how to add additional users here.
Please note that some banks may truncate or omit one of the names when sending the deposit, which can result in the transfer requiring manual review before it’s credited. While deposits from joint accounts may be accepted, they may take 1–2 business days to be processed. To avoid potential delays, we recommend using an individual bank account whenever possible.
