Steps to Deposit via Wire Transfer:

1. Set your default currency to SGD or USD based on the currency you intend to deposit.
2. Go to the Payment Methods section in your Gemini account.
3. Click the menu icon (⋮) next to your bank account.
4. Select “View details” and click “See deposit instructions."
5. Use the bank details provided to make a wire transfer from your registered bank account.

💡 Note: 

• If this is your first time retrieving deposit instructions, it may take up to 24 hours to generate. Once ready, the instructions will be emailed to your registered email address.
• Ensure that the bank account used for the deposit is registered in the same name as your Gemini account.
• Deposits from third-party platforms (e.g., Wise, Revolut, Grab) will be rejected.
   

Bank Account Verification (First-Time Use)

To enable withdrawals to your bank account, you must first make a deposit from that same account to verify it; once verified, withdrawals will be allowed.

Usage of Joint Bank Accounts

If your bank account is a joint account, at least one of the account holders’ names must match the name on your Gemini account. Learn how to add additional users here.

Please note that some banks may truncate or omit one of the names when sending the deposit, which can result in the transfer requiring manual review before it’s credited. While deposits from joint accounts may be accepted, they may take 1–2 business days to be processed. To avoid potential delays, we recommend using an individual bank account whenever possible.
