TRUST is a global, secure, and industry-driven solution designed to comply with a requirement known as the Travel Rule while protecting the security and privacy of customers. TRUST was designed and built collaboratively by leading crypto exchanges to set the standard for Travel Rule compliance.
TRUST includes a mechanism for the receiving exchange to prove that it’s the owner of the receiving crypto address before customer information is sent–to ensure that the right information is sent to the right exchange. This allows us to continue supporting crypto transfers in accordance with local Travel Rule requirements.
For more information on how TRUST enables us to support crypto transfer for our United Kingdom and EEA customers, you can read these support articles United Kingdom Travel Rule Requirements, EU & EEA Travel Rule Requirements.
Whenever required, information is sent directly from one TRUST member to another, through end-to-end encrypted channels. Sensitive customer information is never stored centrally by TRUST.
TRUST members currently include a diverse array of industry-leading virtual currency exchanges, brokerages, custodians, and wallet providers. All members meet core anti-money laundering, security, and privacy requirements.
