1. What is the ROI Rumble?

The ROI Rumble is the first-ever Gemini Leaderboard competition designed for individual (non-institutional) derivatives customers. Participants have a chance to win up to 250 GUSD daily.

1st Prize: $250 GUSD
2nd Prize: $100 GUSD
3rd Prize: $50 GUSD

 

2. Who is eligible to participate in the ROI Rumble?

To participate in the competition, you must meet the following criteria:

• Reside in one of the derivatives-supported jurisdictions.
• Be a retail (non-institutional) customer.
• Have a Gemini derivatives account.
• Have opted into the competition. This competition is strictly opt-in only.
• Have at least 250 GUSD of Margin Assets Value (MAV) at two specific times:
  • The start of each 24 hour period during the ROI Rumble: Your account must have 250 GUSD of MAV when each competition day starts.
  • The end of each 24 hour period: Ensure your account maintains a minimum of 250 GUSD of MAV by the end of each 24 hour period to be eligible for the following day's competition. Doing so would automatically enable you to meet the above condition for the next trading day.
    
    

3. How can I join the ROI Rumble?

To join, follow these steps:

1. You must opt-in to participate. This competition is strictly opt-in only. 
   • Log on to ActiveTrader via the web.
   • In your derivatives account, select “Join the Gemini Leaderboard”.
   • Receive your Geminym. Your Geminym is the username that will represent you on the leaderboard.
   • Agree to the terms and conditions.
2. Fund your derivatives account with at least 250 GUSD by the 31st of July to be eligible for the first day of the competition (1st August). Maintain at least 250 GUSD in your account for each day of the competition you’d like to participate in.
3. Place at least one trade on any of the perpetual contracts during the 24-hour period. There is no minimum trade size.

 

4. How are the winners determined?

The top 3 traders with the highest ROI in each 24-hour period will be the winners.

Winners will be determined at the end of each 24-hour period, running from 00:00:00 UTC to 23:59:59 UTC. Winners will be notified via email.

 

5. How will I receive the GUSD if I win?

Winners will be notified of their rewards via email. Prizes will be credited directly to the winners’ Gemini derivatives account within 72 hours.

 

6. What time does the competition start and stop each day?

The competition is in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and runs from 00:00:00 UTC to 23:59:59 UTC each day.

That means it starts at 8:00:00 SGT and ends at 7:59:59 SGT daily.

 

7. How long does the ROI Rumble competition run?

The ROI Rumble competition commenced on September 2023 and will run daily until otherwise modified or terminated by Gemini Foundation.

 

8. Can I win multiple times during the competition?

Yes, participants have the opportunity to win multiple times during the competition. To remain eligible for each day in the competition, your account must maintain a minimum of 250 GUSD of MAV by the end of each 24-hour period.
