This will not work as a means of verifying your USD bank account for ACH bank transfers. Gemini holds an omnibus account of all customer USD on deposit and any micro-deposits sent by your bank account will not be visible to you. It might be worth sharing this information with your bank, as it is very rare for them to opt for this method of verification.
If your bank account has not been verified, you will see your bank account marked as “Pending” on your Payment Methods page. In order for withdrawals to be enabled for this account, you will need to send a wire transfer from that bank account to verify the account.
